SDR® ("Search, Detect, React"®) is a unique and progressive method of preventive profiling in which deviant behaviour can be detected at an early stage. The SDR® concept allows personnel to correctly interpret and anticipate malicious intentions, without using ethnic profiling. This makes SDR® the answer to today's increasingly threatening climate of crimes and attacks and involves looking at the context of the situation and acting in a de-escalating manner after detecting irregularities.
